M. J. Nederhand is sinds 1 oktober 1995 werkzaam bij Roessingh. Hij is opgeleid aan de VU Amsterdam en Roessingh. Als arts-assistent heeft hij gewerkt in het Militair Revalidatiecentrum in Doorn, Revalidatiecentrum Heliomare in Wijk aan Zee en de afdeling neurologie in het Slotervaart Ziekenhuis Amsterdam.
